DeductKing
Terms of Use
Last updated: August 24, 2026
These Terms govern your use of DeductKing ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter. You must be 13 or older to use the app.
2. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use the app for your own record-keeping. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app.
3. Not tax, legal, or financial advice
DeductKing provides record-keeping tools and educational content only. "Can I Deduct This?", the Deductions Guide, and the Tax Strategy Advisor are general information, not tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Deductibility depends on your individual situation and on facts the app does not know. DeductKing does not guarantee that any deduction will be allowed, any audit outcome, or any tax savings. You should not rely on app output as your sole basis for a filing decision. Always consult a qualified CPA or tax professional before filing.
4. Your records
You are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of your expense, mileage, and tax-strategy records. We are not liable for deductions disallowed, records lost due to your account deletion, or filings based on app output.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Optional Pro features are billed through Base44 Payments (powered by Wix Payments). Subscription fees are charged according to the plan you select. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are subject to the payment processor's policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, enter fraudulent records, or use it for any unlawful purpose. You may only use DeductKing to document real, completed transactions. Creating, backdating, or altering a receipt or record to misrepresent a transaction is prohibited and may constitute fraud. You are solely responsible for the truthfulness of every record you create. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Service availability & no warranty
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may update, change, or discontinue features and do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided with all faults and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeductKing and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on app output, from record loss, or from the interruption of service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold DeductKing and its operators harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your records, your reliance on app output, or your misuse of the app.
10. Dispute resolution & governing law
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis (no class or representative actions). This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
